Hi guys!
Evem today I have good news ..these days it is better to have it often… 😁😁 two days ago, I passed Exam MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals 💪🥳 and I’m really happy about that!
What about this exam?
This exam is designed for candidates looking to demonstrate foundational-level knowledge on the considerations and benefits of adopting cloud services in general and the Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud model. Candidates should have knowledge of available options and benefits gained by implementing Microsoft 365 cloud service offerings. Candidates should have the requisite knowledge to recommend solutions that address common organizational IT challenges and to differentiate Microsoft 365 solutions from the competition in the market. Candidates should also have fundamental knowledge of offerings, optimizing licensing for cost effectiveness, and support options for organizations.

So, if you work daily with Microsoft 365 and you want to be certified, even if maybe you are not a developer but work in this area, it’s a great way to start!
So, what about measured skills?
- Describe cloud concepts (10-15%)
- Describe core Microsoft 365 services and concepts (30-35%)
- Explain security, compliance, privacy, and trust in Microsoft 365 (30-35%)
- Describe Microsoft 365 pricing and support (20-25%)
How do you prepare for the exam?
In my opinion, daily practice is an excellent way to prepare, but during the daily study, I learned a lot of things that are very useful in everyday work. However, the classical study methodology it is better to approach: the learning path!
Here you can find the first learning path, offered (free!) by Microsoft. Each learning path is organized in 5-10 modules, and each module has both the part of theoretical notions and the sections of exercises and self-assessment.

In my own opinion, I like a lot this training, and I suggest it: it is also always updated with the latest news. Compared to MS-600 exam, the developer certification for M365, I found MS-900 relatively simpler, but certainly not trivial! Study and everyday practice allow you to get certified ..! I hope this short post can be used by someone to approach the study of certification or to start developing and entering the magical world of Microsoft 365!
Cheers!
