Speaking at WPC 2025 - SharePoint Embedded and Copilot API

Hi everyone,

I’m back from WPC 2025, organized by OverNet Education, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful. Being a speaker in such an energetic environment, filled with expertise and a genuine desire to share knowledge, was a true privilege.

For me, WPC has always been synonymous with community and innovation, but above all, it’s about people. And when the environment is healthy and stimulating, the line between colleagues and friends becomes truly thin.

The Event

WPC 2025 took place in Milan from December 2-4, 2025, celebrating its 30th edition. It’s Italy’s most important conference on Microsoft technologies, bringing together the largest IT community in the country for three days of training, innovation, and networking.

The event featured over 100 exclusive technical sessions covering topics like Copilot, AI Development, Modern Workplace, Cloud Platform, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Business Applications, Data & Analytics, Development & Tools, and IoT.

My Session: Developing Intelligent Applications with SharePoint Embedded and Copilot API

I had the honor of co-presenting with Fabio Franzini a session titled “Sviluppare applicazioni intelligenti con SharePoint Embedded e Copilot API” (Developing Intelligent Applications with SharePoint Embedded and Copilot API).

What We Covered

In this session, we explored how to use SharePoint Embedded and Copilot APIs to build modern, secure, and scalable AI applications.

We dived into:

• SharePoint Embedded Architecture: Understanding the foundation and container model
• Security Models: Implementing robust security patterns for document management
• Copilot API Integration: Leveraging AI capabilities within application workflows
• Intelligent Document Management: Building solutions that are truly integrated and smart
• Practical Implementation: Real-world scenarios and best practices

The goal was to show developers how to enable intelligent document management that seamlessly integrates into modern applications, leveraging the power of AI through Copilot APIs.

The Topics I’m Passionate About

Being able to bring to the stage the topics I’m most passionate about—Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and of course Copilot—during such an exciting period full of innovations was incredibly stimulating. The opportunity to share, listen, and learn from the community made this experience even more valuable.
